Ingredients:

½ kg Broccoli
1 onion (average sized)
4 garlic gloves
2 inches Celery Stalk
4 cups water or stock
1 cup low fat milk
White pepper powder and salt to taste

Directions:

Cut small florets of Broccoli and rinse them well. For 10-15 minutes, soak them in salted water and drain

Unpeel and chop onion and garlic roughly. Chop celery stalk after washing

Roast or boil almonds on moderate heat till skin color of almonds changes a little.

Take off from stove, let them cool and then slice into sliver.

Heat water or vegetable stock with chopped garlic, onion, and celery and bring to boil.

Add broccoli florets and let it cook without lid. Cook for 5-7 minutes or till broccoli is tender

Take away from stove, let it cool and pulverize it in a blender

Add milk to puree, stir well, and bring it to boil one more time

Add white pepper and salt to taste

Mix in almond slivers and serve hot.
